Ringkasan Cerita AFTER EARTH (2013) :

Alkisah bumi ditinggalkan oleh manusia karena sebuah bencana yang memaksa manusia mencari rumah baru yang disebut dengan Nova Prime. Namun di Nova Prime manusia tidak sendiri, sosok ‘mahluk lain’ muncul dengan senjata mereka berupa predator bernama Ursa. Walau buta, Ursa bisa tetap melacak lewat ketakutan yang keluar dari manusia.

Hanya satu orang yang tidak memiliki ketakutan dalam dirinya. Dialah Jenderal Cypher Raige (Will Smith) yang bisa menghilangkan rasa takutnya dihadapan Ursa. Tehnik yang digunakan Cypher dikenal dengan istilah ‘menghantu’ dan diadopsi oleh The Rangers Corps untuk para Ranger baru.

Jendral Cypher adalah legenda hidup bagi The Rangers Corps. Sang anak Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) pun berambisi menjadi seorang Ranger tangguh.
